About the Role:
First People Solutions is recruiting on behalf of a well-established family-run groundworks and civil engineering company in South Lanarkshire, operating successfully across Scotland and Northern England. We are seeking an Estimator to support Contract Managers and Quantity Surveyors by pricing tenders, preparing estimates, and managing post-award contract tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify tenders suitable for pricing and download tender documents
  • Analyse tender requirements and prepare detailed quotations
  • Collate information for Bills of Quantities and tender submissions
  • Track tender progress and facilitate post-award handovers to delivery teams
  • Complete administrative tasks for the Estimating team

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years' experience in construction, ideally in Procurement, Civil Engineering, or Estimating/Quantity Surveying
  • Valid driving license
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and communication abilities
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Interest in career development within a fast-paced environment
