Our client is a 5 star builder who specialise in building high quality family homes. Their east division are looking to appoint an experienced QS/Senior QS to manage new build housing sites across the east central belt.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities
- Evaluate project costs and provide accurate cost planning and budgeting
- Perform risk, value management, and cost control
- Conduct feasibility studies and cost analyses
- Manage and monitor project expenditure
- Negotiate and manage subcontractor and supplier agreements
- Provide regular reports on project financial performance
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery

Skills and Qualifications:
- Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field
- Proven experience in quantity surveying within private or affordable housing sectors (would consider those from a consultancy background if it's been within housing)
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts and relevant legislation
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills
- Proficiency in using industry-standard software and tools
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
