We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join our clients Finance team based Livingston. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong communication skills, as credit control duties are a key part of the role. The ideal candidate will be proactive, organised, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Raising sales invoices, processing purchase invoices, and bank transactions
  • Handling CIS submissions to HMRC
  • Supplier statement and weekly bank reconciliations
  • Preparing Intrastat returns and BACS runs
  • Managing sales applications for supply and fit projects
  • Credit control calls on a monthly basis
  • Monthly reporting using graphs
  • Liaising with regional staff to ensure best accounting practices
  • Maintaining financial confidentiality and record-keeping


As a Finance Assistant you will become an essential part of the small team, supporting the financial operations and ensuring the smooth handling of accounts-related tasks. You will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, so our client is looking for a good communicator with strong attention to detail.
