We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join our clients Finance team based Livingston. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong communication skills, as credit control duties are a key part of the role. The ideal candidate will be proactive, organised, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Raising sales invoices, processing purchase invoices, and bank transactions
- Handling CIS submissions to HMRC
- Supplier statement and weekly bank reconciliations
- Preparing Intrastat returns and BACS runs
- Managing sales applications for supply and fit projects
- Credit control calls on a monthly basis
- Monthly reporting using graphs
- Liaising with regional staff to ensure best accounting practices
- Maintaining financial confidentiality and record-keeping
As a Finance Assistant you will become an essential part of the small team, supporting the financial operations and ensuring the smooth handling of accounts-related tasks. You will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, so our client is looking for a good communicator with strong attention to detail.
