Vibe Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading automotive service provider, who is looking for a reliable and experienced Tyre Fitter to join their team in Livingston. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for the automotive industry and hands-on mechanical work to become part of a dynamic and growing company.
About the Role:
As a Tyre Fitter, you will be responsible for fitting, balancing, and repairing tyres on a wide range of vehicles. You will be working in a busy, fast-paced environment, ensuring that vehicles are roadworthy and that customers receive excellent service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fitting and replacing tyres on cars, vans, and light commercial vehicles.
- Balancing tyres and ensuring proper alignment for optimal performance.
- Repairing punctures and carrying out other tyre maintenance tasks.
- Providing excellent customer service by advising customers on tyre care, safety, and maintenance.
- Ensuring that all tools, equipment, and work areas are kept clean, safe, and well-maintained.
- Completing all necessary paperwork and vehicle documentation related to the work carried out.
- Adhering to all health and safety regulations in the workshop.
Ideally, You Will Have:
- Previous experience as a Tyre Fitter or in a similar role in the automotive industry (preferred but not essential).
- A strong interest in automotive mechanics and the ability to work with your hands.
- Good knowledge of tyre brands, sizes, and fitting techniques.
- A strong work ethic and the ability to work efficiently in a team environment.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- A positive attitude and good communication skills, with the ability to interact with customers professionally.
