We are currently seeking an experienced and professionalHGV Technicianto join our client's team at a leading commercial vehicle service provider based inLivingston. This role offers a great opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a competitive salary and excellent benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out maintenance and repairs on HGVs and trailers.
  • Diagnose vehicle faults, conduct tests, and perform permanent repairs.
  • Complete warranty, contract, and retail paperwork accurately.
  • Undertake preventative maintenance to reduce unnecessary customer costs.
  • Assist with additional duties as required by the Workshop Controller.

What We're Looking For:

  • ACity & Guilds/SVQ Level 3qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent).
  • Proven experience in servicing and repairing HGVs.
  • A methodical approach to problem-solving with attention to detail.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of technical data through manufacturer training.
  • Full UK driving licence (HGV licence preferred but not essential).
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Shifts:

  • Week 1:Monday to Friday, 6am to 3:30pm
  • Week 2:Monday to Friday, 1pm to 10:30pm
