TeacherActive is proud to be working with a secondary school in Brecon, supporting their search for Learning Support Assistants / LSA. This school offers a high-quality teaching experience for all students and are keen develop their pupils into mature young adults. They pride themselves on a framework contributing directly to the progress of each students each term.Â
The school is seeking a passionate team player to take on this short-term role, although there is potential for this to become a long-term placement for the right Learning Support Assistant / LSA. The successful Learning Support Assistant / LSA will bring a new dimension and skill set to this role, be keen to develop their own skills to adapt to the children’s individual needs and have a positive impact on the wider school.
The position will involve working with students across Key Stage 3 and 4. A proactive thinker with the ability to take control of situations confidently is necessary.
The successful Learning Support Assistant / LSA will have:
• Experience working with children in a school setting
• Experience working with students of any key stages, Key Stage 3 and 4 ideally.
• Great time management skills
