Are you a maintenance engineer with an electrical or ex-forces background looking for in a manufacturing site tucked within the beautiful Welsh county of Powys?

Are you looking for in-house training on bespoke machinery, working within a close-knit team that will enable you to become a technical expert?

As a part of this team, you will be working preventatively as well as reactively to ensure the production process is maintained. In this role you will be interpreting electrical drawings and fault-finding PLC input and outputs to understand the root-cause of issues.

Established over 150 years ago, this company has a huge history in the timber production industry, now part of an international conglomerate of timber mills. Due to the high demand of this industry this role will be crucial in continuing the smooth running of operations.

This role would suit a Maintenance Engineer who is electrically biased, looking to work for a stable company as part of an expert engineering team located in a scenic part of the world.
The shift pattern is as follows:

  • Week 1: Sunday - Thursday, 10pm - 6am
  • Week 2: Monday - Thursday 2pm - 10pm, Friday 1pm - 9pm
  • Week 3: Monday - Thursday 6am - 2pm, Friday 6am -1pm

The Role

  • Reactive and Preventative maintenance of bespoke manufacturing machinery
  • Input and output PLC fault finding
  • Working a Three-week rotating shift pattern
