Job Role: Community Nurse
Location: Llandrindod Wells, Wales
Working period: Full-time
Working Hours: Hours up to 37.5 hours per week. Minimum of 22.5 for continuity
Assignment Period: 1 month (4 weeks)
About the Role:
We are looking for a confident and experienced Community Nurse to join our team immediately. If you are passionate about delivering high-quality care in the community and have the skills listed below, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Administration of oral medications, insulin, SC & IM injections
- Palliative care, including syringe driver management and symptom control
- Catheterisation (male, suprapubic, and female)
- IV administration
- Leg ulcer management and wound care
- Doppler training (desirable but not essential)
- CHC nursing needs assessment (desirable but not essential)
What We Are Looking For:
- NMC registered nurse (RGN)
- Previous experience in a community setting
- Ability to work autonomously and manage caseloads efficiently
- Strong assessment and decision-making skills
- Driving license and access to own vehicle is essential
