What You'll Be Doing

As an Electrician, you will be based in Ganol and will cover the Conwy Valley area, playing a crucial role in maintaining and ensuring the efficiency of essential systems. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining and repairing electrical equipment as part of the MEI team.
  • Diagnosing faults and ensuring assets are fully operational.
  • Installing and upgrading electrical systems to improve reliability and performance.
  • Interpreting electrical drawings to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Following strict safety procedures, including Risk Assessments & COSHH assessments.
  • Sourcing materials from approved suppliers to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Completing reports and documentation to monitor workload and performance.

What You Need to Apply

  • You must be a fully qualified electrician who holds 18th Edition IEE regulations.
  • A full UK driving licence.
  • Experience in fault-finding, repairs, and installation within an industrial setting.
  • Willingness to be on call 1 day in 5; Friday on call includes Saturday and Sunday.

The Remuneration Package

Generally, electricians will earn around 45,000 (not guaranteed), including a salary of 30,305 - 34,442 depending on experience, plus an allowance for planned working time of 3,957 - 4,490, a standby allowance of 3,307, a bonus of up to 1,000, overtime, and benefits including up to 11% employer pension contributions, free mortgage brokering services, a car leasing scheme, gym discounts, a health cashback scheme, cycle-to-work schemes, and retail discounts.
