Day-to-day of the role:
  • Oversee the daily operations of the family entertainment centre, which includes an arcade, children’s soft play area with cafe, laser tag, and mini golf.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure that both the interior and exterior of the arcade maintain high standards and that all safety checks are completed as scheduled.
  • Monitor arcade revenues, prize payouts, stock levels, and staff numbers to ensure adherence to budgets and targets.
  • Maintain close liaison with the management team, communicating company information and changes in procedures as required.
  • Address and resolve any unresolved issues to ensure they are dealt with satisfactorily.
  • Motivate staff to ensure maximum efficiency in the day-to-day running of the site and establish a good working environment to maximise staff commitment.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • GCSE level qualification in Maths and English (or equivalent international qualification).
  • Experience in customer service.
  • Experience in arcade cash collections, working within a children’s soft play environment, or retail management.
  • Proven experience in managing or assisting in managing a team.
  • Strong cash handling skills, both cash and electronic.
  • Excellent time management and ability to prioritise workload.
  • Strong IT skills, particularly in MS Office and Excel.
  • Highly motivated, self-directed, with meticulous attention to detail.
