Structural Steelwork EngineerLlanelli, South WalesPermanent£45,000.00 - £55,000.00Advanced Resource Managers are excited to support a long-established and award-winning structural steelwork fabricator, to hire an experienced Structural Engineer for the business, who is ideally chartered or working towards chartership (IStructE / ICE).

This is an excellent opportunity to join a first-class structural steelwork fabricator, with an enviable almost 50-year trading history, who will in turn reward you with a competitive salary, an excellent benefits package and career progression opportunities.

You will form a part of an 11-strong team for design & detailing, designing structural steelwork for portal frames, both loadbearing & non-loadbearing structures, within the commercial, industrial and agricultural building sectors.

Duties

- Prepare structural design calculations and connection design for structural steelwork in line with current design codes & standards

- Prepare material take-offs and bills of quantities

- Prelim design/tender designs

- Achieve detailed specifications on structural design

- Liaison with other parties involved in the project design process, such as design consultancies, main contractors and other stakeholders.

Essential Skills- Structural Engineering background, ideally within structural steel fabrication- Tekla/Trimble design software (Telka TEDDS, Tekla Structural Designer)

- IDEA StatiCa

- Excellent communication skills
