The Role:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Nursing Home Manager to lead our dedicated team and ensure the smooth running of our home. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the care homes operation, including care quality, staff management, and compliance with regulatory requirements. This role is essential in maintaining the high standards of care that our residents deserve.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the home operates in compliance with CIW (Care Inspectorate Wales) regulations, meeting all statutory and legal requirements.
  • Provide leadership and direction to the care team to deliver person-centred care.
  • Manage and supervise staff, ensuring continuous professional development and effective team performance.
  • Oversee the financial management of the home, including budgeting and resource allocation.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with residents, their families, and other stakeholders.
  • Ensure that care plans are updated regularly and reflect the needs and preferences of residents.
  • Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to maintain and improve care quality.
  • Liaise with CIW during inspections and implement any necessary improvements.

What We Are Looking For:

  • A qualified and registered nurse (preferred) or a social care professional with managerial experience.
  • Proven experience in managing a care home or similar setting.
  • Strong knowledge of CIW regulations and care standards in Wales.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
  • Compassionate, empathetic, and dedicated to improving residents' quality of life.
