We now have an exciting opportunity for a Portfolio Development Executive to join us, covering Wales, to act as the Development Bank manager for a portfolio of equity investments.

Through the provision of general advice and guidance, you will be responsible for driving shareholder value and ensuring maximum returns on portfolio equity investments.

In addition, you will assist the investee company to develop value creation plans in order to enhance value and prepare the investee company for sale/the Development Bank’s exit and managing the exit process on behalf of the Development Bank.

With excellent communication and interpersonal skills, you will develop an in-depth understanding of, and close working relationship with, portfolio clients. You will appraise applications for any follow-on investments, whether by way of equity and debt support or any combination of these and produce regular forecasts of expected valuations/ returns for the Development Bank’s internal MI.

The successful candidate will have excellent attention to detail and experience of working in a financial or similar numerate environment and will have particular experience of analysing financial information.

A relevant professional qualification is essential and a driver’s licence.
