Role Overview:

Working as part of the wider Maintenance Engineering team, you will report directly to the Engineering Team Leader. Your primary objective will be to support the Maintenance Engineering team in performing Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and addressing reactive machine issues in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

This role is ideally suited for Maintenance Engineers who lack the necessary level 3 qualification or skilled individuals within a similair environment who have worked in roles such as a Tool Technician or Machine Setter experienced with first line fix Maintenance experience and a flair for maintenance engineering. Most importantly we are looking for candidates who are ambitious, hardworking, and eager to build a long-term future in Maintenance Engineering for market leading client.


Key Responsibilities:

Perform Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM).
Address and resolve reactive machine issues.
Collaborate with and support Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineers to ensure smooth operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience of maintaining machinery in a fast paced manufacturing or production setting.
  • Level 2 related qualification
  • Background in roles such as Tool Technician or Machine Setter.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • High level of ambition and a desire to pursue a long-term career in Maintenance Engineering.
  • Willingness to undertake necessary training and achieve Level 3 qualifications.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Basic understanding of health and safety regulations in a manufacturing environment.
