About Us:
We are a unique supported living center situated on 90 acres of beautiful countryside. Our center is also a working farm, offering a vibrant, hands-on lifestyle for our residents-adults with learning disabilities who lead active, fulfilling lives. From tending to jobs on the farm and working the land to participating in various social and recreational activities, every day is a new adventure here.
The Role:
We are looking for compassionate, energetic, and reliable individuals to join our dedicated team. Whether you're seeking full-time or part-time opportunities, we offer flexible roles to suit your lifestyle. Best of all, there are no sleep-ins required at the beginning of your employment!
As a member of our team, you will:
- Support residents in their daily lives, fostering independence and personal growth.
- Engage in farm-related and outdoor activities alongside residents.
- Assist with social, recreational, and skill-building programs tailored to our residents' interests and abilities.
- Work collaboratively with a supportive team to create a safe, enriching environment.
What We're Looking For:
- A genuine passion for supporting individuals with learning disabilities.
- A proactive and positive attitude.
- Flexibility to adapt to a variety of activities, both indoors and outdoors.
- Previous experience in care or support work is an advantage, but we welcome anyone with the right attitude and willingness to learn.
