Our client are Ofsted grade 2 and have 5,500+ active apprentices on program have been working in training for 30 years. Role: Internal Quality Assurer/IQA (Active Leisure) Reports to: Lead Internal Quality Assurer Location: Wales with travel. Candidates must drive and have their own vehicle (all travel paid for)Employment Type: Part Time (2 days a week) Salary: £32,637 FTE Role Overview: We are seeking a diligent and experienced Internal Quality Assurer (IQA) with experience in the active leisure sector to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in maintaining the high standards of our apprenticeship programs, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and supporting the development of our assessors and trainers. The IQA role is a hybrid role with both remote and face to face working required. This role will cover the whole of Wales so the ability to travel to support our business requirements is a must. We are looking for a part time IQA and can be flexible on the days worked within the week. Key Responsibilities:• Conduct regular quality assurance activities, including observations, sampling, and audits of assessment practices. • Ensure compliance with awarding body requirements, industry standards, and internal policies.• Provide constructive feedback and support to assessors, promoting best practices and continuous improvement.• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all quality assurance activities.• Lead standardization meetings and training sessions for assessors and trainers.• Monitor and report on the effectiveness of assessment processes and make recommendations for improvements.• Liaise with external stakeholders, including awarding bodies and regulatory authorities, as required. Qualifications and Experience: 
  • Recognised IQA qualification (e.g., TAQA, V1, or equivalent)
  • Significant experience in a quality assurance role within the apprenticeship sector for active leisure
  • Occupational experience with the leisure industry (Gym L2/PT L3, Leisure/Activity Leadership
  • CIMSPA Accredited Personal trainer qualification • In-depth knowledge of current apprenticeship standards and assessment practices. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Proficiency in using e-portfolios and other digital assessment tools.
