Are you a dedicated and experienced Pharmacist seeking an exciting opportunity in a dynamic healthcare setting? We are currently recruiting for a Band 6/7 Pharmacist to join a community hospital team in Powys for a clinical/wards-based role. This is a cross-site role, so flexibility and the ability to drive is essential.

Key Details:

Position: Band 6/7 Pharmacist – Clinical/Wards
Location: Powys (Community Hospitals – Cross-Site Role)
Hours: 3 Days Per Week
Contract Type: Ongoing Contract
Start Date: ASAP
Salary: £25 - £35 p/h 

Key Requirements:

  • GPhC Registration
  • Prior Hospital Experience (preferably in clinical or ward-based settings)
  • Full UK Driving Licence (required for cross-site travel)
  • Ability to work 3 days per week
  • Immediate Start preferred – ongoing contract

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical pharmacy services to inpatient wards, ensuring safe and effective medication management
  • Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient care
  • Conduct medication reviews, participate in ward rounds, and provide advice on complex medication regimens
  • Ensure compliance with local and national medication policies and guidelines
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of pharmaceutical services across sites
