Graduate Teaching Assistant

Are you a recent graduate looking to gain meaningful experience in education before pursuing teacher training? Reeson Education is recruiting for a Graduate Teaching Assistant to work in a supportive and forward-thinking primary school in Enfield.

This role is perfect for a graduate with a background in Psychology, Education, Childhood Studies, or a related subject who wants to develop classroom experience, support pupils with additional needs, and explore a future in teaching.

• Support pupils in KS1 and KS2 with day-to-day learning activities

• Work 1:1 and in small groups to deliver targeted interventions

• Help with behaviour management, classroom routines and lesson delivery

• Assist teachers with planning resources and adapting materials for SEN pupils

• Be a consistent and encouraging presence throughout the school day

• A graduate with a 2:2 or above in Psychology, Education, or a similar field

• Previous experience with children (in schools, tutoring, or youth work) is ideal

• A confident, proactive, and compassionate approach

• A strong desire to work in primary education, with interest in future teacher training

• Enhanced DBS or willingness to apply

• Gain hands-on classroom experience and build confidence in a teaching role

• Work alongside experienced teachers in a supportive team

• Develop skills in behaviour management and differentiated teaching
