The Role:
- Position: Graduate Teaching Assistant.
- Salary: 80-100 per day, based on experience.
- Start Date: Immediate.
- Location: Waltham Forest, East London.
As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will work alongside teachers to provide vital support in the classroom, assist with lesson delivery, and offer tailored interventions to pupils, including those with special educational needs (SEN).
Responsibilities:
- Support pupils in their learning journey, helping them overcome challenges and achieve success.
- Work 1:1 or in small groups, providing additional help to children with SEN, such as ASD or SEMH.
- Assist with lesson preparation and classroom organisation.
- Build strong relationships with pupils, fostering a positive and inclusive environment.
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to ensure pupils receive the best possible support.
What We're Looking For:
- A recent graduate with an interest in education, SEN, or child development.
- Strong interpersonal and organisational skills.
- A proactive, patient, and enthusiastic approach to supporting children.
- Experience working with children is desirable but not essential.
