The Role:
- Position: Behaviour Mentor.
- Salary: 80-100 per day, depending on experience.
- Start Date: Immediate.
- Location: Enfield, North London.
As a Behaviour Mentor, you will work closely with children with SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs), providing 1:1 support and small group interventions to help them engage with learning.
Responsibilities:
- Develop positive behaviour management strategies to support pupils with SEMH.
- Provide structured 1:1 mentoring to help children build confidence and emotional resilience.
- Assist the teacher in implementing tailored learning plans and interventions.
- Foster a safe and supportive classroom environment.
- Monitor progress and adapt strategies to meet pupils' evolving needs.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience as a Behaviour Mentor, Teaching Assistant, or in a similar role.
- A calm, patient, and empathetic approach to supporting children with additional needs.
- Strong communication and behaviour management skills.
- A passion for helping children develop socially and emotionally.
- Psychology graduates or those with a background in youth work are encouraged to apply.
