The Role:
- Position: Learning Support Assistant.
- Salary: 80-100 per day, based on experience.
- Location: Enfield, North London.
- Start Date: ASAP.
In this role, you'll provide focused, tailored support to help a child with additional needs thrive in their learning environment. You'll collaborate closely with teachers, the SENCO, and other staff to deliver interventions that encourage progress, confidence, and well-being.
What You'll Do as a Learning Support Assistant:
- Offer 1:1 support for a pupil with SEN, adapting to their individual needs.
- Help the child develop socially and academically by building confidence and maintaining positive relationships.
- Implement tailored strategies and techniques to assist learning and behaviour management.
- Collaborate with the class teacher and SENCO to track and support the pupil's progress.
- Foster a safe and inclusive environment that enables the child to reach their potential.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience working with children with additional needs in an SEN or Learning Support Assistant capacity.
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to adapt to a child's specific challenges.
- A proactive and enthusiastic approach to working collaboratively with staff and parents.
- Strong communication skills and a passion for making a difference in children's lives.
