We are seeking a talented Project Manager to join our client's dynamic team in the renewable energy industry. As the Project Manager, you will be responsible for delivering the removal and replacement of the Super Grid Transformer SGT 1 project in Argyll and Bute This project involves designing associated equipment, overseeing manufacturing, installation, and commissioning of new transformers. Applicants must have good understanding/experience of Transformer replacement.

12 month contract - site based Key Accountabilities:Foster a Best in Class culture for project deliveryLead health, safety, environmental, quality, and security initiatives to establish our client as a recognised leader in the Hydros industryDevelop and manage the project budget, providing monthly reporting on actual and forecasted expensesEnsure contractors' technical performance meets the project's high standards, guaranteeing replacement transformers adhere to specified requirementsManage the legal aspects of contracts and ensure compliance with protocols and proceduresOversee the project's consent requirementsLead the change management process from project to operational status, including training, documentation, and handover proceduresMotivate, train, and develop staff within established policies and practises to create an effective workplaceKnowledge, Skills, and Experience Required:Hold a relevant Degree in Engineering, Law, Quantity Surveying, or possess equivalent large Programme Management experiencePossess a formal Project Management qualification, such as membership in the Association of Project Management or an equivalent institutionDemonstrate experience in developing strong relationships with contractors and internal customersHave senior line management experience in an operational environmentPossess extensive knowledge of project management, including cost, time, and quality managementStrong understanding of relevant legislation, such as health and safety, environment, and construction lawExhibit excellent leadership skills, including change management and coaching abilitiesProven track record of successfully delivering complex, multi-disciplinary projectsDesirable Experience:Understanding of power station operationAbility to interpret and understand complex analytical dataComfortable with change and continuously seeking ways to improve performanceStakeholder Engagement:Ability to manage multiple stakeholders with potentially conflicting prioritiesSkillful in influencing senior executives across various functionsSpecial Features:The role will be site based for at least @ 6 months of the 12 month contractOccasional anti-social hours may be required for key tests or measurementsMeasures of Success:Meeting key objectives in health, safety, environmental compliance, and qualitySuccessfully delivering the project within budget, cost, and scheduleEffective handover to operations, including training, documentation, and embedded processesEfficient team management across multiple projectsEffective management of internal and external stakeholdersHow You Need to Act:To excel in this role, the following behaviours are expected:Demonstrate leadership in Health, Safety, and Environment, setting clear standards and challenging others to meet themCommunicate clearly, concisely, and professionally at all timesMaintain a professional attitude even under pressureSupport the training and development of staff across various topics, including contract and programme managementIf you are ready to embrace an exciting opportunity in the renewable energy industry and lead our client's Super Grid Transformer project, apply now!Adecco is a disability-confident employer.
