Description
- Working alongside the Accounting & Finance team to maintain financial records
- Analysing financial data to determine cost of operations
- Making recommendations to reduce costs and improve financial performance
- Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports
- Ensuring compliance with relevant financial regulations
- Assisting in budget preparation and expense management activities
- Conducting cost analyses and preparing budget reports
- Collaborating with auditing services to ensure proper compliance with all regulations
Profile
A successful 'Cost Accountant' should have:
- Qualified Accountant or QBE
- Comprehensive understanding of Accounting & Finance principles
- Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software
- Strong analytical skills with a detail-oriented mindset
- Excellent mathematical skills
- Exceptional problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and reporting skills
- Ability to work well in a team and independently
