HGV Class 1 Tramper Driver

StaffCo Direct are operating as an employment business and actively recruiting for Class 1 Tramper drivers for a company based in Lockerbie.

New Pass & LTD Drivers Welcome!!

We are looking for highly motivated Class 1 Tramper drivers with valid licenses, who can take on the company’s ethos and assist us in the support of our client’s day-to-day operation.

Remuneration (LTD RATES):

Monday to Friday Days - £18.50

Monday to Friday Nights - £19.50

Saturday - £19.50

Sunday - £21.25

Nights Out - £30

Responsibilities:

• This will involve delivering curtainside trailers nationwide.
• Some drops may include handball however most are forklift off.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents or delays
• Start times between 05:00 & 09:00

Experience/Skills & Competencies:

• HGV1/ LGV1 UK-issued License is required (Must have license for at least 3 months)
• Current and Valid CPC and Digi Tacho
• No more than 6 penalty points (no IN DR or DD codes)
• Experience driving container loaded trailers
• Excellent knowledge of the UK road network
• Great communication skills
• Professional attitude
