We are delighted to partner with a leading haulage specialist in their search for an Experienced Traffic Planner to join their dynamic team. This well-established company has been providing exceptional flatbed and tanker haulage services across the UK for over 40 years, supporting top-tier customers in the timber and precast industries.

About the Role:
This is a fast-paced, full-time position based in Lockerbie, where you will be responsible for planning and coordinating goods deliveries across the UK. Working closely with drivers and customers, your goal will be to ensure efficient, safe, and timely deliveries. Planning flatbed arctics collecting and delivering goods across the UK on behalf of their customers, effectively communicating with drivers and customers to make sure deliveries are made on time every day, safely and efficiently.

Full knowledge of HGV driving hours and working time directive, great customer skills, positive attitude, proactive problem-solving skills.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and coordinate flatbed arctic collections and deliveries to meet customer requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with drivers and customers, resolving challenges proactively.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with HGV driving hours and working time directive regulations.
  • Navigate and utilize fleet telematics and transport management systems.
  • Input and manage load information accurately within the transport system.
