Job Title: Van Driver
Location: South East England
Salary: 24,264.90 per annum (based on 37.5 hours per week)
Employment Type: Temporary position leading to permanent employment after 6 months
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 16:00
We are seeking a reliable Van Driver to join our team due to retirement. The successful candidate will typically operate a Mercedes Sprinter or Ford Transit-sized vehicle on rotating routes throughout the South East of England.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely transport goods to various locations according to scheduled routes.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and ensure timely deliveries.
- Communicate effectively with customers and the logistics team.
Requirements:
- Valid UK driving license (Category B).
- Good driving record with no major violations.
- Ability to handle physical demands of the job, including loading and unloading goods.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
