Location: Central London

Hours: 35 hours per week

Pay rate: £19.08 per hour + holiday pay

Duration: Minimum of 3 months, with potential for extension

Working Pattern: Full-time onsite for the first 4 weeks, moving to a hybrid model (3 days onsite weekly)

We are looking for a dedicated Student Support Officer with a background in programme administration within higher education, to support online and distance learning students worldwide.

As the Student Support Officer, you will be required to:

  • Provide top-level support to distance and online learning students, handling enquiries by email, phone, and in person with professionalism and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth and consistent student support services, following established policies and procedures.
  • Oversee administration of examination boards, contracts, and payments for online tutors, and manage the processing of assessments and student progression.
  • Maintain detailed records and data management according to organisational policies, ensuring accuracy and timely updates of all student records.

To be successful in the role, you will have:

  • Proven experience in programme administration within higher education.
  • Strong skills in using student records systems and virtual learning environments.
  • Excellent organisational skills, along with a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
