Accommodation Manager - Premium Student Living

Our high-growth client is seeking an Assistant Accommodation Manager to help oversee a flagship premium student residence. This role is ideal for retail or hottel and Hospitality professionals looking to transition into an exciting and rewarding industry, where you'll play a key role in delivering a five-star living experience for their customers.

Your Role as an Assistant Accommodation Manager:

  • Help to oversee the full day-to-day operations of the residence, ensuring the highest standards of service.
  • Lead, coach, and inspire your team to deliver an outstanding guest/resident experience.
  • Help manage all aspects of building maintenance and facilities management to ensure a safe, compliant, and welcoming environment.
  • Work alongside a Facilities technician to ensure full compliance with Health & Safety regulations, audits, and reports.
  • Help to develop and maintain strong relationships with local businesses, universities, and community networks.
  • Alongside the General Manager, plan and execute engaging resident events and experiences, fostering a strong sense of community.

What We're Looking For:

  • Minimum 2 years' management experience within hotels or hospitality
  • A proven track record of delivering an exceptional guest or resident experience.
  • Strong operational and facilities management experience.
  • A natural, hands-on leader with a passion for service and customer engagement.
  • Excellent planning, organisational, and financial management skills.
  • A self-motivated, energetic, and solutions-focused approach.

Given it's away from hotel's it has a better work / life balance regarding hours and days of the week - there are 3 shift patterns Mon-Fri: 7AM - 4PM / 9AM - 6pm / 12am-9pm and 1 in 3 weekends.
