The Courthouse hotel is a 5-star luxury hotel ideally situated in an old Grade II Listed Magistrates Court, retaining much of its original historical features but with a modern twist. Our hotel is located where stylish Mayfair, fashionable Soho and the West End meet and is within walking distance of Londons famous shopping street New Bond Street which is revered throughout the world for its wealth of elegant stores, exclusive brands, art and antiques. Job Description: We are excited to offer an opportunity for a hands-on IT Manager to lead our IT department across our esteemed group of hotels. The successful candidate will not only manage but also directly engage in the maintenance and enhancement of our IT infrastructure, ensuring an exceptional guest experience.

With systems and network upgrades in the pipeline this is a fantastic opportunity for you to bring your expertise to the table andhelp mould the technological advancementswithin our hotels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and actively participate in the IT support team, providing hands-on technical support and assistance within a Windows desktop and server environment.
  • Directly oversee the maintenance and improvement of IT systems for all hotel properties and the head office, ensuring hands-on involvement in critical IT tasks.
  • Provide technical support via phone, remote control, and on-site visits, while efficiently managing the IT ticketing system.
  • Design and implement IT systems, ensuring they meet the specific needs of the hospitality industry.
  • Manage and actively contribute to IT projects, ensuring involvement in achieving project milestones and deliverables along with stakeholder management.

Requirements:

  • Strong hands-on experience in managing IT infrastructures within a Windows domain.
  • Experience in configuring and support Microsoft 365 suite of products including SharePoint, Teams and Exchange Online.
  • Leading cloud migration projects with expertise in Microsoft Azure.
  • Hands-on knowledge of networking, with CCNA certification or equivalent experience, including experience with Cisco Meraki deployments.
  • Direct experience in Wi-Fi network setup and management, cabling, and hardware troubleshooting.
  • Azure Active Directory implementations and migrations.
  • Demonstrated hands-on ability in system design and project management within the IT sector.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience in deploying and supporting Property Management and Point of Sales systems (Opera, Maitre D, point of sale, Payfacto etc.)
  • Exceptional hands-on ability to work under pressure and maintain meticulous attention to detail.
  • A friendly and approachable with outstanding interpersonal skills, ready to engage directly with technical and non-technical staff.
  • A minimum of 3 years hands-on experience in a Hospitality IT role.
  • Relevant certifications such as MS900, AZ100, MCTS, A+ hardware, or similar qualifications.
