Job Purpose, Tasks, and Responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

  • Writing high-quality content for audit manuals, ensuring technical accuracy, practicality, and up-to-date information for our clients.
  • Advising clients on technical Audit & Accounts (A&A) matters and contribute to technical content for broader purposes.
  • Collaborating with our Product team to offer input on technical, client, and competitor intelligence, helping shape our products.
  • Representing Mercia in client meetings with Account Managers, providing clear and compelling technical materials to support marketing and sales efforts.

What We're Looking For

To be successful in this role, you must have / be:

  • Excellent technical knowledge of audit and accounts, with the ability to translate changes into clear, practical guidance.
  • Commercial awareness of the UK accounting profession.
  • ACA qualification (or equivalent) with post-qualified experience.
  • Proven experience in producing technical guides or manuals in the accountancy profession.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with above-average competency in the English language.
  • High-level organisational and project management skills to handle multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.

To be successful in this role, it would be great if you have:

  • Experience working directly with clients, Account Managers, or Sales teams to deliver tailored technical solutions.
