This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled individual to join a dynamic team within a well-regarded company in the property sector.Responsibilities of the Accountant include:
  • Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Ownership and control of financial ledgers for each entity and ensure up to date and accurate records are in place.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable.
  • Monthly balance sheet control.
  • Prepare actual v Forecast rec analysis for journal entry cash postings.
  • Ensure accurate tax reporting and compliance with VAT and other regulations.
  • Reconcile financial records and resolve discrepancies.
  • Assist with audits and liaise with external auditors when required.
  • Assist in review and implementation of internal control improvements.
The successful Accountant will require:
  • Proven experience in an accounting role, ideally within the property sector.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage with various stakeholders.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
