Atomic is delighted to be partnering with a 3 partner Firm, based in West London, looking to recruit an Accounts & Audit Senior/Accounts & Audit Manager to join their team. The role will be split roughly 80% Accounts, 20% Audit. Our client is committed to providing a first class service tailored to the individual needs of each client. They keep a close eye on all the essentials and offer proactive advice on how to improve both personal and business finances.

Responsibilities:

  • Reporting directly to the partners, managing a portfolio of clients
  • Working alongside the firm's other Audit and Accounts Manager and Directors to manage the workflow of staff
  • Initially the role would require a higher level of involvement in the preparation of year end accounts and corporation tax returns and the audit of financial statements, though as the transition to manager progresses, this would reduce.
  • Planning, executing and managing audit assignments, supervising more junior members of staff where appropriate
  • Dealing with clients and being a first point of contact
  • Reviewing accounts and audit work performed by more junior members of staff and provision of training as necessary

Requirements:

  • Qualified ACCA/ACA or equivalent
  • Experienced auditor from planning through to completion
  • Experience of supervising more junior members of staff
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to deal with clients directly and build a good relationship
  • Working knowledge of Iris suite of accountancy software and Mercia methodologies for audit purposes would be a strong advantage, though not essential
