Great opportunity to join a leading firm of chartered accountants based in London. This firm provide audit, accounting and taxation services to a wide range of businesses from SMEs to large multinational companies. Also well known for creating a working environment that truly helps their people succeed and achieve their ambitions, while benefitting from a genuine work life balance. As part of the corporate services team, you will be working on a varied portfolio of clients. The role will include:
  • Preparation management accounts, statutory accounts, and VAT returns for a wide range of organisations in compliance with the firm’s and statutory procedures.
  • Implementing accounting software for clients.
  • Training for junior members of the team throughout the year and work on improvements to accounting methodologies and to improve efficiencies.
  • Provide general accounting services and assistance to clients in the preparation of accounts and VAT returns, for example preparing working papers for management or statutory accounts.
  • Take full ownership of assignments and see it through to completion, solving issues as and when they arise. 
If you have the following this role could well be for you:
  • Are AAT qualified or ACCA part qualified
  • Have client facing experience
  • Have experience of preparing statutory and management accounts and VAT returns
  • Have experience supporting and training junior team members
  • Have experience of delivering or operating cloud solutions
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Knowledge of UK GAAP, specifically an understanding of FRS102 (1A) and FRS105
  • Excellent knowledge of accounting software including Sage, QuickBooks and Xero
