A leading firm of Chartered Accountants in London is seeking a new team member for their Corporate Accounting Team.

This firm provide audit, accounting and taxation services to a wide range of businesses from SMEs to large multinational companies. As part of the corporate services team, you will be working on a varied portfolio of clients. The role will include:

Preparation management accounts, statutory accounts, and VAT returns for a wide range of organisations in compliance with the firm’s and statutory procedures.
Implementing accounting software for clients.
Training for junior members of the team throughout the year and work on improvements to accounting methodologies and to improve efficiencies.
Provide general accounting services and assistance to clients in the preparation of accounts and VAT returns, for example preparing working papers for management or statutory accounts.
Take full ownership of assignments and see it through to completion, solving issues as and when they arise.

If you have the following this role could well be for you:

Are AAT qualified or ACCA part qualified
Have client facing experience
Have experience of preparing statutory and management accounts and VAT returns
Have experience supporting and training junior team members
Have experience of delivering or operating cloud solutions
Excellent communication skills
Knowledge of UK GAAP, specifically an understanding of FRS102 (1A) and FRS105
Excellent knowledge of accounting software including Sage, QuickBooks and Xero
