Are you an experienced AAT qualified Finance Associate with a background in accountancy practice looking to develop your career further?

Cedar have partnered with a growing and dynamic top 20 Accountancy practice in London, offering a competitive salary and ACCA study support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare management accounts and statutory financial reports, including consolidated accounts.
  • Assist with VAT registrations and preparation of VAT returns, including partial exemption rules.
  • Support and guide junior team members, reviewing their work and providing feedback.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, offering tailored accounting advice.
  • Identify and recommend improvements to clients' accounting systems and processes.

Person specification

  • Experience working for an Accountancy Practice is essential.
  • AAT qualified or ACCA part-qualified, with 3+ years of experience in an accountancy practice.
  • Strong understanding of UK GAAP (FRS 102 & FRS 105).
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks Online, and tools like Dext or FUTRLI.
  • Excellent communication skills and a client-focused attitude.
  • Strong academic background: GCSEs (minimum grade B/6 in Maths and English) and 3 A-levels (or equivalent, minimum 120 UCAS points).
