Talentedge are actively recruiting for an Assistant Commercial/Management Accountant for a growing Media agency in Central London for hybrid working (3 days currently in the office p/w) paying £30-35k+study support.
Responsibilities include:
- Preparation of the monthly Revenue postings, analysis and supporting documents in a timely manner for the Finance Managers to review
- Weekly Client Forecast meetings with Client Services
- Reconciliations of Fees and Job Costs
- Oversight and control with Client teams - ensuring cash flow management
- General Ledger/Balance Sheet reconciliations
- Assist the Finance Managers with preparation of forecasts, budgets and KPI analysis
- Be a point of contact for external auditors
- Compile the Client Teams’ and Head of Department Analysis
- Assist/Supervise the Financial Analysts with analysis, accounts payable and receivable tasks
- System Management - consistent reviews of the ERP system ensuring employee data, client and job setup is correct to align reporting
- Direct Cost postings
- Client level commentary
Candidates must have:
- Part Qualified or studying towards ACCA/CIMA qualification
- Someone who is enthusiastic, proactive and keen to learn
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Someone who is approachable with good interpersonal skills
- Strong knowledge on MS Excel/Google Sheets
- Experience working in a Media and Advertising industry is
- preferable
- A minimum of 2yrs experience within an entry level finance role and looking to progress
- Experience in Data analysis/Visualisations preferred
