Assistant Finance Controller

A global Hedge Fund is going through a period of expansion due to an increase in trading activity. Our client, based in their London office with hybrid working, is after a Finance/Accounting person.

Assistant Finance Controller

The role will aim to help bring the books and preparation of the financial statements in-house from the External Accountants.
Review of management accounting packs produced by the External Accountancy firm.
Supervise a team member.
Management of the accounts payable automated process.
Oversight of employee expense reimbursement.
Management of Cash and Treasury.
VAT and assisting with the Corporation Tax in conjunction with the Head of Tax
Oversight of the fund expense accounts.
Working on finance/accounting projects.
