Your new companyYou will work for a dynamic and rapidly growing media company based in North West London. The team is passionate about delivering high-quality content across various platforms and are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Assistant Management Accountant to join the small Finance team and support continued business growth. Your new roleThis is a newly created role, working alongside the Finance Director. Your responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):

  • Assisting in the preparation of monthly management accounts, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Supporting the budgeting and forecasting processes by providing accurate financial data and analysis.
  • Conducting variance analysis to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement.
  • Assisting with the preparation of financial reports for senior management and stakeholders.
  • Reconciliation of bank statements.
  • Managing accounts payable and receivable.
  • Maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
  • Collaborating with other departments to gather financial information and support business decision-making.
  • Assisting in the preparation for audits and liaising with external auditors as required.
  • Performing ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting tasks as needed.
