An exciting opportunity as an Assistant Management Accountant has arisen in a hugely impressive law firm.
As the Assistant Management Accountant your duties will include -
- Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts
- Post prepayments, accruals, and journals
- Maintain the fixed asset register
- Manage monthly fee earner targets
- Authorize and verify supplier invoices, staff expense claims, and bank payments
- Assist with budgeting and quarterly forecasting
- Perform intercompany reconciliations
- Prepare quarterly and annual legal surveys and national statistics reports
- Generate ad hoc management information data
To be successful in the Assistant Management Accountant you must have -
- Experience in the accounts department of a professional services firm
- Strong Excel skills
- Flexible, professional, and proactive attitude
- Ability to use initiative and challenge work practices
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Currently studying towards an accountancy qualification
- Experience in a legal or professional services environment is ideal
