IN2 Consult is partnering with a client in the logistics space to recruit an accounts assistant to join their growing accounting team.
Join the Finance team to drive business growth through financial analysis, reporting, and forecasting. You'll handle monthly accounts, variance analysis, month-end tasks, and assist with budgeting and audits.
Key Responsibilities -

Prepare monthly management accounts, including variance analysis

Handle key month-end tasks like revenue recognition, OPEX accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations

Support the annual budget process and preparation of statutory accounts and tax packs

Assist with financial audits (internal & external)

Provide weekly and monthly head office reports

Cover for other accountants during their absence
The ideal candidate for this role should have the following experience -
-
1-2 years experience within finance
-
Part qualified - CIMA/ACCA
-
Strong understanding of P&L and balance sheet preparation
-
Proficient in Excel with the ability to manage deadlines and pressure
