Assistant Management Accountant | £35-39k | Permanent | Commercially Focused Non-profit | Study Support Package | Hybrid Working

This role is a brilliant opportunity for someone looking to develop their career in a very well-known and commercially focused non-profit organisation. The Assistant Management Accountant role will be working with key senior stakeholders across the organisation to advise on management decision making and deliver succinct management reporting to specific areas.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide support to both budget holders and other senior finance staff to deliver management information
  • Assisting in the preparation of budgets for the department
  • Producing various reporting for budget holders to help decision making
  • Work towards monthly financial reporting including P&L and Balance Sheet reconciliations
  • Assist in the preparation of the monthly and quarterly forecasting
  • Provide variance analysis and commentary on financial performance of department

Person specification

  • A part or fully qualified accountant (if part qualified, keen to continue studies - Study Support Package available)
  • Experience of working with budget and forecasting
  • A strong communicator ideally with experience of working with a variety of stakeholders to deliver financial information
  • Ideally have some experience of the non-profit sector
  • A self-starter with the ability to work independently and proactively
