Your new companyAre you a tax candidate with over two years of experience in a practice, currently seeking a new role to learn and grow within a highly reputable firm? I am currently working with a small accountancy firm based in South East London, seeking a tax trainee to join their growing firm. This role will involve working on personal tax compliance for a diverse portfolio of clients, including HNWI, directors, sub-contractors, partnerships etc. You will also have exposure to corporate tax and trusts, including preparing P11D's forms and corporate tax returns. Your new role

  • Prepare and file personal tax returns for a variety of clients
  • Maintain regular communication with clients to provide updates on their tax status and address any queries or concerns they may have.
  • Assist in providing advice to clients and supporting senior members of the team with research projects
  • Support the team in preparing corporate and trust tax returns, gaining exposure to different areas of taxation
  • Stay up to date with changes in tax legislation and the impact this will have on clients

What you'll need to succeed

  • Strong academic background
  • 2+ years of personal tax experience in an accountancy firm
  • Proficient in preparing personal tax returns
