Job Purpose
  • Overseeing onsite audit assignments from planning to completion, ensuring deadlines and budgets are met
  • Preparation of accounts for sole traders, partnerships and Limited companies
  • Preparation of tax computations
  • Communicating clearly and effectively at all levels to progress assignments and resolve queries
  • Supervising junior staff, including review working and delivering training
  • Building trusted client relationships, acting as their main point of contact to proactively handle queries
  • Championing your own professional development, undertaking training opportunities where possible
  • Working directly with Managers to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements

The Successful Applicant
  • ACA / ACCA qualified, part qualified or currently studying
  • Demonstrable experience within UK practice
  • Proven track record of overseeing audits from planning to completion
  • A hands-on team player who can also work autonomously
  • Self-motivated and reliable, with a hands-on work ethic
  • IT proficiency including Microsoft Office, SAGE, Xero and QuickBooks
  • Exceptional communication skills and keen eye for detail
  • Able to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues alike
  • Good awareness of current affairs and solid commercial acumen
  • A can-do attitude towards problem-solving
  • Ability to work well under pressure
