This growing firm of chartered accountants and business advisors is looking for a talented Audit & Accounts Senior to join its thriving team.

If you are an Audit & Accounts Semi Senior ready for the next step up in your career, or if you are an experienced Senior wanting a new challenge within a forward-thinking firm, this Audit & Accounts Senior job in London could be the right opportunity for you.

You will be ACA or ACCA qualified or part qualified with demonstrable experience (particularly in audit) within practice, and you will be able to effectively support a varied client portfolio.

You will be technically minded with a proactive approach to problem solving, and you will be able to lead a small team confidently and constructively. Effective communication skills will be essential, and you’ll have proven experience of efficient time management.

Job Purpose

  • Manage the delivery of accounts, confidently using software including Sage, Xero, and QuickBooks.
  • Prepare financial statements to completion.
  • Provide office-based and occasional on-site audit work.
  • Prepare corporate tax computations.
  • Provide mentorship to junior team members, confidently overseeing a small team.
  • Building trusted and long-lasting relationships with clients, being the go-to advisor for any queries.
  • Confidently network and undertake business development activities.

The Successful Applicant

  • ACA or ACCA part or fully qualified with previous audit experience within practice.
  • Adept at running small audits autonomously and able to act as a Senior on large audits.
  • A full suite of general accounting skills (statutory and management accounts, tax, VAT, bookkeeping, payroll.)
  • Experience reviewing the work of others.
  • Working knowledge of accounting software.
  • Self-motived with attention to detail.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent IT skills and customer service.
  • Good communication skills are essential.Good time management and punctual.
