Pentagon Talent is supporting a growing boutique accountancy firm in recruiting a Senior Audit & Accounts Manager / Partner Designate. This is a unique opportunity to work closely with the Partners and help shape the business, with potential to transition into a partnership role.
Key Responsibilities:- Audit & Accounts: Manage day-to-day operations of the audit department, overseeing a portfolio of clients with turnovers from £10k to £230m, handling complex accounts and overseas consolidations under IFRS.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor an Audit Manager and a team of 7 staff members, fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Business Development: Drive new business opportunities, network, and bring in new fees to contribute to the firm's growth.
- Practice Management: Support the Partners in daily operations and strategic decision-making while ensuring regulatory compliance.
- ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent) with experience in audit and accounts.
- Proven leadership in a senior role within an accountancy firm.
- Strong communication and client management skills.
- Knowledge of IFRS, overseas consolidations, and client portfolios.
- Ideally, experience as an Responsible Individual (RI), or the desire to become one.
