Crowe Watson Recruitment is thrilled to be recruiting on behalf of a leading firm of Chartered Accountants in London for an Audit and Accounts Senior. As an Audit and Accounts Senior, your primary focus will be on delivering high-quality audit services for a diverse client portfolio, which includes SMEs and larger organisations across various sectors. While the role will include some accounts preparation responsibilities, your main function will be to lead audit engagements from planning through to completion, ensuring compliance with all relevant standards. The successful candidate will be ACA/ACCA qualified with strong audit experience gained within a UK Practice. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead audit engagements from planning through to completion for a variety of clients
  • Prepare statutory accounts in accordance with FRS 102 and other relevant standards
  • Manage and review the work of junior staff, providing guidance and training
  • Liaise directly with clients to ensure exceptional service and address any queries
  • Assist in developing and improving audit methodologies and processes

Requirements

  • ACA/ACCA qualified
  • Must have previous experience working within a UK Practice environment
  • Strong technical knowledge of audit standards and financial reporting
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • A proactive approach and ability to work effectively under pressure
