What You'll DoAs a Senior Audit Director, you'll take on a crucial role, overseeing audits for some of the firm's biggest clients. This isn't just about compliance-it's about driving strategy, mentoring talent, and making an impact on the future direction of the firm.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Leadership: Take charge of a diverse portfolio of clients, leading audits and ensuring they meet the highest quality standards. You'll work with fast-growing businesses, including those with international operations.
  • Shape the Strategy: You'll be a key part of the leadership team, helping to shape both the audit function and the firm's broader strategic goals.
  • Mentor & Grow Talent: Lead a young, energetic audit team, coaching them to become the next generation of audit leaders. Your role in developing talent will be crucial to the firm's ongoing success.
  • Business Development: You'll be actively involved in growing the business. Whether through networking, attending industry events, or contributing to proposals and tenders, you'll be a key player in expanding the firm's client base.
  • Drive Innovation: Help implement new technologies and processes that keep the audit team ahead of the curve, with a strong focus on digital tools like CaseWare.
  • Global Exposure: Engage with clients across different regions, including UK and EMEA markets, offering opportunities for international travel and collaboration.

Who You Are:

  • Experienced Audit RI: You've got at least 5 years of Responsible Individual (RI) experience under your belt. You know your way around the audit process, and you're ready to take on bigger challenges.
  • Leadership Material: You've led teams before, and you know how to bring out the best in people. Whether it's mentoring junior auditors or collaborating with other directors, you lead with confidence and integrity.
  • Tech-Savvy: You're comfortable with audit software like CaseWare and stay up-to-date on financial reporting frameworks (IFRS, FRS102).
  • Driven & Ambitious: You're not just here to do a job-you want to grow the business and contribute to its long-term success. If you've got a background in business development, that's a plus!
  • Global Perspective: Experience with international clients is a bonus. You'll be working with companies that have a global reach, so understanding the nuances of international business is key.
