Overview & Responsibilities:

This is a unique opportunity for top auditors looking to transition from practice to industry, specifically for those with financial services or technology sector experience. You’ll leverage your audit background to assist in driving the execution of the Financial Infrastructure roadmap, working alongside cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, agile environment. For exceptional candiates with notable UK experience, sponsorship can be offered. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Collaborate with the Finance SME to deliver key financial infrastructure projects, bringing your expertise in controls, reporting, and process optimization.
  • Gain a deep understanding of current accounting practices and identify areas where future-state solutions can drive efficiency and accuracy.
  • Partner with Product and Engineering teams, applying your audit insights to communicate finance requirements, uncover inefficiencies, and ensure compliance with best practices.
  • Document future-state financial processes, ensuring they align with established accounting standards and robust internal controls.
  • Be hands-on during the development phase, providing critical feedback and contributing to agile iterations.
  • Lead the testing and implementation phases, ensuring any changes are well-integrated into business-as-usual operations, with clear communication to stakeholders.
  • Manage detailed project plans for your assigned workstreams, using PMO tools to track progress.
  • Maintain strong communication with stakeholders and the Finance SME, supporting informed decision-making throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications: 

  • ACA or equivalent professional finance qualification from a top 10 audit firm is mandatory
  • Minimum of 2+ years post-qualification experience in audit, with a mandatory focus on financial services or technology clients.
  • Strong background in financial controls, reporting, and accounting processes, ideally gained through audit engagements.
  • Proven experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including finance and technical departments.
  • Exposure to complex, fast-paced transformation projects, preferably within a listed company environment.
