You’ll leverage your audit background to assist in driving the execution of the Financial Infrastructure roadmap, working alongside cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, agile environment. Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Finance SME to deliver key financial infrastructure projects, bringing your expertise in controls, reporting, and process optimization.
- Gain a deep understanding of current accounting practices and identify areas where future-state solutions can drive efficiency and accuracy.
- Partner with Product and Engineering teams, applying your audit insights to communicate finance requirements, uncover inefficiencies, and ensure compliance with best practices.
- Document future-state financial processes, ensuring they align with established accounting standards and robust internal controls.
- Be hands-on during the development phase, providing critical feedback and contributing to agile iterations.
- Lead the testing and implementation phases, ensuring any changes are well-integrated into business-as-usual operations, with clear communication to stakeholders.
- Manage detailed project plans for your assigned workstreams, using PMO tools to track progress.
- Maintain strong communication with stakeholders and the Finance SME, supporting informed decision-making throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications:
- ACA or equivalent professional finance qualification from a top 10 audit firm is mandatory
- Minimum of 2+ years post-qualification experience in audit, with a mandatory focus on financial services or technology clients.
- Strong background in financial controls, reporting, and accounting processes, ideally gained through audit engagements.
- Proven experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including finance and technical departments.
- Exposure to complex, fast-paced transformation projects, preferably within a listed company environment.
