GCS currently delivers over 200,000 desktop LGSR verification audits, 22,000 on-site quality control audits, and other related compliance audit services each year to both domestic and commercial residential properties as part of a service provision for registered social landlords. These audits and related compliance services tailored to meet our clients' specific requirements include:
• Conducting comprehensive audits to ensure compliance with GCS standards and regulatory requirements.
• Performing inspections of gas installations and appliances to ensure they meet safety standards.
• Preparing detailed audit reports that highlight findings, recommendations, and corrective actions.
• Assessing new installations to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and best practices.
• Collaborating with team members to ensure continuous improvement in compliance processes.
• Providing training and guidance to others on compliance requirements and best practices.
This a remote role which will span acorss London and South East areas. A fully expensed vehicle and fuel card will be provided.
The primary purpose of this role is to manage and consistently provide input, ensuring the delivery and enhancement of all duties associated with the aforementioned tasks. This will ensure that they are completed to a high standard in a timely manner, meeting and exceeding our contractual obligations while maintaining the company's reputation.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A full suite of ACS qualifications. As a minimum: CCN1, CENWAT (CEN1, WAT1), HTR1, CKR1 and CPA1
- A gas-related NVQ Level 3 – City & Guilds qualification
- A1, A2 Assessors (D32, D33) qualifications, although not essential
- Detailed knowledge of gas appliances and central heating systems supplemented by a thorough understanding of Normative Documents, especially the Gas Safety (Installation & Use) Regulations 1998
- Good communication skills
- Full driving licence
- IT literate with good knowledge of the Microsoft Office application.
- Further qualifications in fumes investigation reporting (CMDDA1) and commercial gas, although not essential
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a similar role within the compliance or gas safety industry.
- Additional certifications in gas safety or compliance-related fields.
