Audit Semi Senior - International Team

A Top 5 global network of accounting, tax, consulting, and advisory firms, operating in over 160 countries, is seeking an Audit Semi Senior for its International Team, for their London office. This team provides specialised audit services to multinationals, collaborating with global member firms to develop efficient, high-quality audit strategies. The role involves centralised, project-managed audits and includes overseas travel.

As an Audit Semi Senior, you will:

  • Conduct audits using a bespoke risk-based approach.
  • Assist on larger clients, completing sections of the audit file as planned.
  • Lead smaller audits, from planning to completion, including drafting financial statements and management letters.
  • Regularly communicate with the audit senior, offering recommendations to improve client systems and controls.
  • Work between the office, client premises, and home, with potential travel

The ideal Audit Semi Senior would be pursuing professional accounting qualification and has knowledge of accounting standards, financial reporting, and auditing practices as well as Full UK Working Rights. They should be experienced in risk assessment, control reviews, and compliance matters, including anti-money laundering. Understanding of firm services and current economic trends is also required.

An individual comfortable working pro-actively and, managing their own tasks, as well as confidently collaborating with others and communicating regularly with Senior Managers, Directors, and BDO's Partners is required. You'll help deliver accurate and transparent reporting to all relevant stakeholders as you provide long term value.
