Audit Semi Senior Central London Up to £35,000 + bonus Butler Rose, public practice is delighted to be supporting our client, a prestigious Central London firm of accountants' firm that are now eager to appoint a skilled and experienced Audit Semi Senior to complement their existing Audit team. Role Requirements - Reporting directly to, and working closely with the audit managers and partners on various work, including audits, accounts preparations and management accounts. Audit: Responsible for the planning and completion of audit assignments, whilst ensuring audit files have appropriate and?sufficient?documentation. Planning the execution and finalisation of the audit assignments for Partner/Manager review. Sometimes be expected to lead, manage, motivate, and coach other members of the team and review work completed by juniors and provide feedback as appropriate. To act as the main point of contact with the client throughout the assignment, responding to their needs and managing their expectations. Research accounting or tax issues as and when required, and document the research with references. Accounts: From an initial trial balance prepare draft accounts. In addition, prepare consolidation workings and cashbook analysis where appropriate. Perform analytical procedures on the draft trial balance to identify items meriting close attention. Undertake analysis or reconciliations as required on financial statement items, such as fixed assets and income. Prepare a draft tax computation. Liaise with the client or client's bookkeeper to resolve any queries arising during the course of the accounts preparation. Person Requirements: Part ACA or ACCA qualified (preferable) At least 1+ years' experience in a similar Assistant / Senior capacity in an audit focussed role. Knowledge of Sage, Xero, Quickbooks and CCH including Accounts Production and Audit Automation useful but not essential.
